PARTICIPATING: Local (SW Colorado) published authors and illustrators and Indie publishers.
TIME: 10 am – 4 pm,
LOCATION: Ute Museum, 17253 Chipeta Rd., Montrose. [
MAP] Event center and patio.
ADMISISION: FREE
CHILDREN: Welcome, but children under 12 must be with adult and be supervised.
PETS: Not allowed.
FOOD & DRINK. Provided by independent food vendors on the patio. No food permitted in the event room. Sticky fingers destroy books. Damaged or sticky-fingered books: you must buy them!
PRIZES: Awarded hourly to those in attendance. Provided by the participants.
GIFT BASKETS: Provided by community supporters.
LIVE MUSIC: on the patio.
NATIVE VENDORS: On the patio, organized by the Museum. No Vendor sales inside the event area.
BOOK SIGNINGS:  With authors and illustrators at their tables.
ILLUSTRATORS: Painting and drawing while you watch.
BOOK & ART SALES: Encouraged!  This 1st annual event will support our local literary community. Sales, including applicable sales tax, can be completed at participant’s booth or at San Juan Publishing Cash-Out Desk (at or booth). 

MUSEUM & GIFT SHOP:  Open 9:30 am – 04:30 pm. 
Special discounts all day long during Book Fair.
