Cherokee Syllabary

One of the fundamental elements of Cherokee culture is the Cherokee syllabary, a written script developed by Sequoyah in the early 19th century. This innovative writing system consists of 85 characters, each representing a unique syllable. The syllabary is a symbol of cultural resilience and unity, reflecting the ingenuity and determination of the Cherokee people. Brad  envisioned the Baby’s First Cherokee series for early learners of the syllabary.
